Smile Fast RAM for A600

Hello all.

I'm finally getting back into my A600 that I recapped a few years ago. The keyboard died and I was able to strip the flex cable and now that's working. :-)

I have a trapdoor memory called Baseboard 601 which gives me 1.5MiB of extra memory (taking me to 2MiB of CHIP from what I understand).

I just ordered a 2.1 CF drive with Workbench, etc.

My next steps is to get WHDLoad on this. I don't care about acceleration. I just want to play the old school Amiga games that I used to play on my 1MiB A500. But off my hard drive.

It's my understanding I will need more fast RAM. Is this true or can I get my with the 2MiB of chip?

Keep in mind I want to play SotB, Agony, etc. Maybe do a little AMOS programming too.

If I could find a fast RAM expansion that wasn't too expensive, I would certainly get it. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
