Yes, it works with the clockport expander. Use Prisma in Port 2 and RR in port 3 and both things work at the same time.
Remember that RR and Prisma use the red wire in different sides. Edit: As ve've changed page, let me repeat this post here: Quote:

@Retrofan
Many thanks for your excellent beta testing of the Prisma- your feedback has been very useful over the months. @eXeler0 I do not want users to short the card against any conductive areas inside the A1200 desktop case until I have found a good insulation solution - of course users can come up with their own solutions at their own risk. |

Is the A1200 Desktop backplate included? Or is it a separate purchase?

@xraynorm
No, it's not included because I have to find a suitable insulation and mounting solution for the card inside an A1200 desktop. We don't want you to short your shiny new Prisma card against the shielding or keyboard or floppy disk drive |

I have a clockport on my A600 604n memory expansion, in addition to Vampire.
So, Im curious wether or not the desktop version will work on the A600 (I realise its not listed). IF it works, how does it work alongside the Vampire? will it be ignored/bypassed by the Vampire, or will Prisma offload the Vampire? I got a A1200 which I will get a Vampire for too, so the same questions apply I will probably get a A1200 Desktop Prisma regardless, in exchange of my Mas-Player. |

However anyone buying this separately, must understand and accept that if they cause any damage to the card, it will not be covered under warranty. You will responcible you ensuring it insulated properly. You will also have to ensure, you connect it to the clockport correctly. Last edited by FOL; 31 October 2016 at 12:17. |

I just put an insolation tape over the zorro connector and also under the Prisma.
I fix the Prisma card with a double sided adhesive tape in my A1200 desktop. |

Given that amiga amp seems to support it, has it been tested on a plain 68000 in an A2000?

With regards to playback;
In PC demos and games, you find that they play mp3s, wav's etc while the demo/game is running. Im curious if this card can be used by for example demoscene to play mp3s as the soundtrack, while the demo is running as normal...? I realise that some (many?) of the demosceners are not really intrested in overly expanded hardware as their platform, but I see gameproducers like AmigaTec has started to produce more upscale games for AOS4. Prisma offloading the CPU might(?) make more upscale games viable for AOS3.x/Classic hardware. With regards to pictures for A1200 Prisma installation; It would be good if pictures of this was included on the Prisma wiki, with regards to cable installation/orientation and insulation (even tho you clearly say its on own risk). Considering a lot of AGA/060 demos nowadays use adpcm soundtracks, an alternative option to use mp3's for higher quality sound could be implemented. But then again, this is not very likely to happen

Britelite, I would like to ask if it is possible that the Prisma VS1063 DSP could be used combining CPU/DSP/FPU like in this atari dml production:
