It's the same one but I've made a slight change to it (added 2 files with English translation)

Sorry for the questions; just trying to clarify...

Are these changes above also in the .ADFs you included?

Your archive contains "WV1_SaveDisk.adf".

No matter if I select "Old Game" or "New Game" Disk 6 gets written to. I take it Disk 6 is the save disk then? If this is the case then what's the point of "WV1_SaveDisk.adf"?

Also, if I do select "Old Game" and then start I can already see some slight issues with the translation (see attached screenshot).

Finally, how do these disk differ from the ones in TOSEC?

I have similar experience with those small bugs in translation plus buttons to accept or decline transactions are on text and I can not read what's below. I hope we will have finally working English version without this problems. Funny thing is that I do not noticed those bugs while I was playing this game some time ago and translate it manual.

The save game for WV1 is called WV1_SaveDisk. I don't know about Disk 6 other than it's needed to start the game. I usually have all the disks (apart from WV1_savedisk) write protected.

I read somewhere about the translated corruption and it was stated that it was fixed, but I've never been able to find any other translated files than those on Aminet.

I always choose New Game. I think the purpose of the WV1 save disk is just to load the old characters for a quick start? I could be wrong though.

Hmm still freezes up on both ADF install and HDF, however I found out it was being caused by RTG set to Zorro III . So I'll be doing a different Classic WB OS tomorrow on my PC.

As for a real Amiga 1200, I'll probably need to copy over each of the disks for an install!

Getting there though, as I did get to see what the first screen looks like. Will update, but it's looking good

For WinUAE you need to use the default A1200 config.

HOWEVER I did get it to work well through A1200 as just booting from floppy, albeit painfully with all that disk swapping and trying to read dodgy translations in the main game

Downloaded ClassicWB FULL, which is almost the bog standard OS. Installed the game / also tried the hard file. It gets as far as the Continue/New Game and freezes. Can't go on from there..

Floppies work fine, just way too many disk swaps to be considered fun

Probably the worst game i've come across to get to work

Im not having a go at you, but you started 3 threads with the same request ive given you a solution and other members have tested it.

I find it realy annoying when someone requests sonething over and over you try to help them and they dismiss it.

What do you mean requesting over and over, I'm testing every release so far and giving my feedback. At no point have I missed anyones help, if I hadn't how come I was able to try the hardfile and the floppies from the zone?

Do I need to translate that for you? Or are you upset just because your rebooting file didn't work

The HDF I made is a bootable stand alone version. I never got it to work with anything other than a default A1200 setup. It doesn't like RTG, Z3 or any other add on.

It's not meant as a HD Installed version (you can make that yourself with the floppy images)

Just add the HDF to a default A1200 config and away you go.
As for a real A1200, I never tried it, too much hassle for me.

The corrupted text is nothing to do with me, the translation files come that way.
