Fitting an A1200 into an Evo X500 Case
Hi all!
Just wanted to share with you photos of my "new" A1200, fitted into an Evo X500 case by Loriano "TheDaddy" Pagni! More details... ... and even more photos and details are here! There is still some work to be done, especially a connector to bring in the power and maybe unsoldering the mouse connector and solder a DB9 but, eh, that can wait the next holidays... Thanks to "TheDaddy" Loriano! Cheers! Last edited by tygre; 12 November 2015 at 14:41. |

I want three of those PCMCIA extenders.
Also, a mini bracket board that fits the ATX/ITX window, with all relevant connectors would be awesome |

Looks like those PCMCIA are derived from the ones AmigaKit sells... I suppose that you soldered the two IDC ribbons yourself, Tygre? If so, amazing job! I remember wanting to do something like that when I had a towerized A1200

@kolla and @jbenam
Yes, this PCMCIA ribbon is great! It is actually AmigaKit who did it for me because I just can't find time these days (Okay, also because it would not have been half as well done ) Maybe if we all ask them, they would build dozen of these ribbons and sell them officially on-line! Cheers! |
