Cucd 22
Hey all,
First timer here. Me and my mate Dave once sent in a whole SIX!!! discs worth of content for CU Amiga to go on thier cover cd. Over time the cd has went missing and we'd quite like to have a look at the files (a nostalgia thing). Anyway, we're pretty sure its CUCD 22 that is the one we need but I've looked and looked and there isnt an archive of cucd stuff aywhere. I was wondering if anyone can help with this - I see some folk have had succes in gettin requested cd. Er.. if it helps there was a myriad of stuff submitted including (and the thing we most want to get) some music files called Wee and Weemix (oss files I think from Octamed) and some images. And the submitter was David Melville of Kirkcaldy Anyway if anyone can help let sme know. Cheers Malc Dave just IM'd me he reckons it might be CUCD 10 now (sorry) Malc |

Hi Malc. I've looked at CUCDs 10 and 22 but can't find the files you mentioned. I also tried searching indices of the CU and Amiga Format but didn't find anything there either. Can you remember any other filenames?

Dave reckons that the CD itsefl was a turquoise colour. The files - cant quite recall - pretty dure that two of the tunes will be Wee and Weemix ).oss for weemix) Er... ither than that Dave say either there might be a folder with his name on it in the sounds section (he sent loads) We had a look at mag covers and 10, 11 and 12 kinda stuck out. Cheers Malc also might be a jpg or simialr called Flagmap and FLagmap 3d. Cheers Again Malc |

Seeing as Cody checked 10 & 22, I checked 11 & 12 for *wee*, but there's no files on either that match what you've mentioned.
I also checked the CU cd's that could be classed as vaguely "turquoise colour" (ie. anything bluey/greeny/etc) without any success. Checked = 3, 5, 13, 14, 21, 25, 26. |

Thats a pity - wonder what one it was one then??? Thanks for looking - guess will have to keep searching. The only other piece of info on it i can remember is Dave's name is in the mag. In the bit of blurb about the coverdisc Says something like "...and David Melville of Kirkcaldy who sentus a whopping NINE discs of stuff..." something similar - I know thats a bit cheeky askin anyone to have a look at there mag collection but we really ant to check that disc out lol Cheers again Malc |

FOUND: Melville's mods
They are on CUCD no. 6
I've uploaded the Melville's mods directory to the Zone. What else do you want from the CD? Last edited by Galaxy; 26 August 2006 at 00:51. |

Hey there,
Im back as Maclacattacks cos I let my user slide on here. I've had two deaths in the family recently. My Laptop and NAS hdd's. (almost at the same time - what a horrible week! lol) Anyway with them seeking in the big computer in the sky I have lost a lot of files not backed up including the CUCD 6 files I had asked for the last time I was here. I'm hoping that Galaxy is still present and can do me the favour of uploading the fiels for me again. Thanks Malc |

Hey there. It's been 10 years and I'm once again come begging.
Galaxy, if you still roam these boards, any chance of uploading those files again - they've gone missing locally (perils of having young kids...I shall not elaborate) and wouldn't mind getting them again. CUCD6 - the Dave Melville files and other media. No probs if you don't have them anymore. Just giving it a hopeful try. Thanks Malc |
