Pegasus finished!

ahh I just finished pegasus (2 mitutes ago)...wonderful....did you enjoy this game? its rather long..and difficoult...but I liked it very much!
I was surprised about the gift they made him for the final victory...he disappears and get immortalated in the stars..!! poor pegasus..

yesterday I also played IK+ until I got the black belt...then the game seems not to stop anymore...does it go on forever..? no ending..?
anyway its a great game i love it!

Luckily I didn't read enough of it for a spoiler. I always thought this game was more impressive than magazines gave credit for. I'm sure in something like the Sega specific magazines of the time this would have got higher ratings.

Unlike the two gaming gods at ZZAP!64 in the mid eighties it seems most Amiga game reviewers could not handle real games, game the hardware was designed to host when launched in 1985.

Pegasus is the kind of game I just didn't play to try and beat it, just a game every now and then for the heck of it. It's cool that it switches between being a platformer and a side scrolling shoot em up, both types of play are implemented quite well.

I agree. The two gameplay types are a welcome feature in a genre (SHMUPS) that can quickly become boring. I never got past the swamp stage (2nd world, I think) before it got too hard for my skills

I think it's a very nice game, but it indeed its too long and it starts to drag after a while.

I mean, a Longplay of it is more than 2 hours long! That's a bit too much for an arcadey game.
