I checked few with no luck :-/ Plenty of hex editors, Final Fantasy managers and similar stuff but no such easiness like edting few lines of text.

Hello, you are a PS2 owner and know something about programming, maybe you might help me a bit.

I'd like to edit players' names in the PS2 game "Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2". Just names (text). So I need to rip (or simply copy all files from DVD to PC harddrive) the game and edit all players' names, then burn the game with modified files on DVD and play the game on chipped PS2.

I found some PS2 hex-editors, RPG managers, Action Replays but not a simple utility for text editing/translating.

Do you know about anything that allows me to modify this game? I've got a new cage btw :-)

What kind of stories are you writing ? May be you would be interested into contributing to the Deli's RetroGaming Chronicles board when it's online. Being a retard programmer must be cool btw, I already managed the retard part.
