DCE accepting Accelerators for repair?

I have some information's that DCE accepts their (phase5) Amiga PPC accelerators for repair. Is that true and please explain to me how to repair such piece of hardware without documentation? They told us that documentation is long gone, destroyed... Mystery ?

They will accept them but you will never hear or see your board again. Do a google search. This has been happening for over a decade. They still have my card.
