FTP Server

EDIT By Graham:

The FTP Server is now closed. If you are looking to download files from, or upload files to, the File Server, then all the information you require can be found in this thread:

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43633

Thanks!

As I think this is such a good idea this thread should be stickied :)

But as Magix says - this is basically EAB's FTP to all intents and purposes, so the same file-uploading rules apply here as they do to the Zone and the like so bear that in mind please ;)

TCD 13 August 2008 23:58

Great idea to promote this Magix :great
I think soon the normal 'Look in the zone' will be replaced with 'Look on Magix FTP in...' :agree
Thanks again for letting us use your server :bowdown

Okay, I will move them this evening when I'm back home.

DDNI 18 August 2008 13:26

Thanks for the FTP resource!

What sort of traffic is it experiencing, what can it cope with?

TCD 18 August 2008 13:30

I get download speeds up to 170 kbyte/s. Upload speed is also pretty fast (must look later, cause small files are up in almost no time :)).

Charlie 23 August 2008 01:56

This is great! Thanks very much. :)

TCD 30 August 2008 00:37

Thanks to all the guys that have uploaded stuff to Magix FTP :great
I think it has become a real nice source for Amiga stuff already and it is still growing :)

The cue file in TCD folder is obsolete.

Here's the fixed one.

Thanks for the info and fix NoX1911 :) I updated the file on the FTP (if you haven't done so already ;))
I think Retro goes nuts when he hears that the old cue is obsolete :D

Some track names were in the wrong order or even untitled. I noticed this immediately. ;)

meega 30 August 2008 14:04

Thank you Magix (and uploaders). It looks to be a very useful source for some things. :)
