Am I right, Karate Kid II is still missing ?

BarryB 06 October 2018 18:36

@Tweeky: Nice, another 2 to knock off the list :great

My original PSU for my Kryoflux died as well, so bought 2 of these off amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000MGG6SC so now I have a spare if one fails :D

@christianlucio: It's not in the SPS Database yet so has no 'official' IPF for it! There are a number of 'common' Amiga games that still have no official IPFs for them!

Tweeky 06 October 2018 18:51

count it 3, LotharMatthausSuperSoccer_1728 was the last dump i made some days ago, already sent it to Denis to verify ;)

ordered new PSU at ebay just before:D

LotharMatthausSuperSoccer_1728, Nice!

I steer clear of ebay regards PSU, never know what's inside or if they've forged the certification stamps! Last thing you want is a dead Kryoflux due to a dodgy PSU :sad

Karate Kid II is a quite shitty game by Steve Bak. It uses a few amiga tracks, and all the others are in ST/IBM track format.

Which in itself doesn't mean it's a bad game, it's far more playable than Rise of the shitty fucking Robots, why does that exist in IPF and KKII doesn't :p

dlfrsilver 06 October 2018 21:47

KK II (lol in french KK mean poop) is an ST port.

BarryB 06 October 2018 22:10

ST port or not, it's still far more playable using 1 Disk than Rise of the 'KK' fucking Robots that fills an unlucky 13 Disks on an A1200 :D

Coincidentally, a 'dump' in English also means 'KK', so i've been sending you a lot of 'shit' lately Denis :laughing

Lothar Matthaus is the v2.1 / 24-10-1994. Same as IPF 1728.

I just uploaded to the zone some CT-RAW images of some more missing entries.

I contributed the majority of these to SPS quite a few years ago. I did not receive IPF images for any of them.

For SPS Missing List:
Crime Wave - ERBE Release
Leonardo - Softgold Budget Release - Not sure if its the same as other SPS images?
Medieval Warriors - Original Release - Disk Not modified (sealed new old stock when imaged)
Soul Crystal - Retail Release - SPS shows budget release (Disks maybe modified?) - Possibly different to others?

Old Images contributed to SPS (not sure if checked?) not showing in SPS list:
La Aventura Original - Dinamic Release - Not shown in SPS (disk maybe modified?)
Manhatten Dealers
Street Cat
Street Sports Basketball (Spanish release - not sure if the same as US version?)
Test Drive (Spanish - Dro Soft release)
