A1200 Gaming-Tower with 5 Controlports and removable IDE-CF-Card

...inspired by Amigakit.com...

btw, i love babelfish

I would like to present now gladly times my Tower project. A goal was it to make a A1200 the optimal WHDLoad Zockmaschine for which CD-ROM access and network functions and or other one " ernste" Application also no problem are. After straight always already went to me with the Zocken with friends the dumb Umstöpselei of the Pads and sticks at the back of the computer on the cookie, I furnished myself in the front of the Towers of four CONTROLLER haven connections (2*Port1,2*Port2) and at the back a Mouseport. River and mass are switchable in the front over the small rocker switch for Mouse/Joy enterprise. Here many dear thanks again to my friend, who did not only help me when soldering, but to me also the time left, all this to build… My Flucherei with the always new error tracing, if times which did not go, has it also patiently borne. Further I wanted a simple file transfer via UAE and CF-map, from there the IDE CF Wechselkarte in the front. The Slotblechhalterung at the back I modified and more spater with grey Gewebeband disguised something. The further free connections of the Towergehäuses are from the inside masked with tape with aluminum volume. One sees among other things on the back the cable run inward for DF1: and the Joyports.

The Specs:
* A1200 KS3.1 in the ELBOX EZ4-Tower
* Blizzard 1230-IV 50MHZ+50MHZ-FPU with 64MB FastRAM,
* newly soldered battery holder and new VL2020
* Control-Port1*3/Port2*2-Adapter
* Indivision AGA
* IDEFix express
* 20GIG Fujitsu hp 2.5"
* IDE CF adapter, from the outside accessible, with 4GB CF-Card
* CDRW-LW
* DVD-LW
* DF0: internal new, DF1: from old external converted
* Lyra2 with standard Logitech PS2-Keyboard
* Micromys with Logitech MX1000 laser mouse
* PCMCIA Network-Card
* Audio mixer for CD/DVD audio

The Amigasys4aga-OS3.9 operating system with me, which I already refined a little, runs by software. Keyword FBlit, nearly EXEC etc. hopes to find something assistance here shortly with the setting-up concerning Blizkick and CO. - I have momentary while the first raising so around the 4 Reboots (still without Blizkick). Still two PSX PAD adapters of Paul Willingham are added shortly, who still another little must be into shape-filed, in order to find to front haven their place. She ordered directly over Youtube with him, lively by the collective order here in the forum. Hopefully gefällts…

So long and Yours sincerely, Ebster.

Thanks Ebster/TCD!

As you know, I'm always looking to extend my German vocabulary - especially with hard-to-find words connected with computing and technology.

Note that my translation comes with no warranty Just to make it a bit more readable I guess thomas might have some better translations for the technical terms.

i had to build in another switch to seperate line 5,6 and 9 for proper cd32-pad/mouse-switching. otherwise the buttons of the pad were buggy with the mouse plugged in at the same time. and i bypassed e127r on my 1d4 mobo for proper highgfx mode. just to let you know..

regards!
