how to restore Cannon Fodder (Quarterback archive version)

i am totally noob with the Quarterback program

i would like to test this Cannon Fodder [cr MST] adf's set, that is marked as QB5.0 archive :

Cannon Fodder HD archive

What do i need to restore the original files?

i have tried to use the Quarterback disks (from 5.0 until 7)
and also the Quarterback Tool disks, but those Fodder disks seems unreadable

it seems that the program search for AmigaDOS filedisks, but those are non standard ones

what i'm missing?

worked fine for me in WinUAE using this:

https://ftp2.grandis.nu/turran/FTP/C...05%20(1-1).DMS
(requires AmigaOS 2.x or later)

Select the destination and click Restore, insert backup disk1 and press OK.

The script to launch the game CANNON_FODDER assumes it's installed to DH0:Cannon but you
can load the game without the intro if you use the exe called loadit directly (or edit the script)

yay, 5.12 did the job

i was stuck at the very begin

the QB starting message is not clear imo, i thought it was needed to select directly the disk with the archive, but no, it is the next step lol

testing the game atm, seems a great version, not broken like mentioned in another cracktro

prolly because the same two disks .lha version, that miss the details to make it work correctly
