Autoload for config file at startup
A checkbox in the config menu that says "autoload at startup" would be really cool, so people won't have to load their favourite config-file manually each time WinUAE starts.
Toni, is that an option for you or is that feature already implemented and I'm just too blind to recognize it? BTW: Of course thanks for your great work. I'm watching the progress of this great project since the very beginning in die 90s. Last edited by hoderer; 03 May 2010 at 01:02. |

thanks, but it doesn't work :-(
I select a kickstart file and make some changes here und there save this as my default-configuration. When I restart WinUAE it says that it couldn't find any kickstart-files (I should "rescan") and it does not remember my new default-settings. So saving my settings and autoload them simply doesn't work. But it works when I manually click "load" in die config menu. Then, my news settings are loaded correctly. Strange... Can anyone reproduce this? |

It should be default.uae. Disable quickstart mode (checkbox in bottom right corner) You should always scan roms at least once (Paths-panel), it also makes manual KS selection much quicker..
