Amiga City BBS News...
Finally got this working - you dont need a telnet client that supports Ymodem file transfers, you can just use a HTML5 terminal emulator called VTX. If you want to access the Amiga City BBS without needing a full client give this a try: http://AmigaCity.xyz/vtx - hope to see you there!

What about us that prefer telnet from say DCTELNET on the Amiga? Do you have port 23 connectivity enable or at least moved to another port?

Amiga Scene - Amiga BBS!
If you want the full Amiga experience (LOL) you need to visit BBS's - My BBS is just for the Amiga and has loads of downloads and other features for Amiga fans. Best to use a Amiga telnet client though you can use the HTML client, haven't tried that on a real Amiga though - Just connect to "amigacity.xyz" at the default port of "23". Or the HTML client at http://AmigaCity.xyz/vtx - will love to see you there! Any questions just ask!

Is it really ymodem for transfers or is that a typo? I was in the bbs scene back on the 90's and everyone was using z modem even back then.

It makes you want to tap a little bit
![]() telnet amigacity.xyz (If you don't have telnet on your Windows 7's cmd, use first : pkgmgr /iu:"TelnetClient".) |
