Where did my programs go???

Hello all,
I just installed a fresh copy of WB 3.1 on my A1200, and then installed lha, installer43_3.

Then installed Directory Opus, and WHDload, but I can not find neither of them?

In the C: folder I found WHDLoad, but I can not find Direcotry Opus.

Thanks.

Did you use "novice" mode? Do you have a Work: partition?

If yes, then check your Work: partition for your installed software.

WHDLoad itself does not really have an install location, as you noticed, it copies its files into C: and S:. The install location only has the documentation directory.

I recommend always using Intermediate mode when installing anything on the Amiga.

Thank you for your response. I indeed installed using the "intermediate" option, but I can't seem to find it (well there are some WHDLoad files in the C folder)

Would you be able to recommend some good 'front-end' programs for WHDLoad, in order for me to have nice list of games (complete with a small thumbnail of a given game) for WHDLoad?

Also, where can I find the Directory Opus then?

Thanks in advance!

Directory Opus main file is named DOpus. Maybe You search for file "Directory Opus" (which not exist)?

Just search for "directoryopus". If the installer do not asked for a place to install, then you should find a dopus directory on one of your devices like sys:, work:, ram:, ...

I had a look into the install script [1.4 (24.06.01)]. It should have asked you for the destination drawer. The default destination directory is "SYS:".
