Imprisoned in a SHU with Amiga but allowed only one game
Scenario is: You are Imprisoned in a Security Housing Unit (solitary confinement) i.e. bare walls, bed, bucket for loo etc... with only an Amiga for entertainment hooked up to an old CRT sat on a old wooden stool in the corner. But the catch is you are allowed only one game.
Which game would you choose to keep you sane? ![]() Also Which game would you consider as torture? ![]() Edit: there's a Joystick (very generic but uses 2 button fire) and a mouse, also the TV outputs sound on a mono speaker. Programs are allowed instead of a game such as Deluxe Paint etc.. Last edited by sneckburger; 05 March 2020 at 15:33. |

I suppose the Torture option needs some thought.. you know just in case the Government stumble across your entry online and before you know it.... poof this could be a reality!
![]() I'm thinking Bobs bad day for torture, Not decided on my Fave yet.. Maybe Frontier Elite 2. |

I think I've decided, AMOS for my sane.
Haven't a clue how to code, but I reckon I could figure it out...... I think... This could be a bad idea. LOL Also games like Pinball dreams & fantasies, only one of the tables will load up, others are all corrupt. Last edited by sneckburger; 06 March 2020 at 09:43. |

I would choose an strategy game or flight sim, hard to decide which one, as they are many of them.
![]() Game that tortured me for the most time, it's Sensible Soccer. ![]() |

I second Pirates!
or maybe Frontier or fitting the situation: The Sentinel ![]() Depending on the jail duration maybe also Zak McKracken... it certainly would take me months to memorise all the needed steps and puzzles and mazes ![]() PS: Maybe Bards Tale II would be the best choice... I had the original disks on the C64 and some years ago I made some progress in it on the Amiga (it's identical but nicer and I completed the first dungeon called Dark Domain). I don't know how many hours it would take me to complete all of the dungeons of increasing difficulty and collect all segments of the destiny wand. Remember: without solution, internet and/or character editor, which means you start drawing the wilderness, city and dungeon maps. I hope I can get pen and squared paper in that cell ![]() |

Not serious question but let's answer like this :
To keep me sane : - 1st choice : any programming language (with the manual) If 1st choice is not allowed because it's not an Amiga game, then I will take : "Shadow of the Beast". For torture : - "Out Run". |
