REQ: Bit in the magic castle (ITA)
Hi,
I found out that TOSEC misses a 100% version of this ITALIAN game. In the TOSEC version, the files rooms/st15 and rooms/st16 from Disk 2 are corrupt. Thanks in advance. |

Avanti ragazzi...!
Someone of you numerous Italian guys here MUST be able to get me a clean dump of Disk 2 eventually? An installed WHD version could also come in handy, so I can extract the working room file from it. Grazie in anticipo ... ehh ... Thanks in advance! |

Slightly OT question: is it necessary to write REQ at the beginning of the thread? Since the thread lies in the Requests forum, it´s obviously a...err.... request :P
I never hread of this game myself, and we did get a shitload of italian games over here. |

Yes we did. Well I learnt about this very game thanks to Bobic (BTTR) and his unbeatable Game List.
A couple of years back, he sent over a handful of disks marked as "not loading", "not working", "freezing" and so on, in order for me to fiddle with them resp. check if it was a disk fault or an emulator problem. This small but good "non-working ADF collection" (nicknamed SHIT) contained a lot of extremely obscure titles at that time (amongst them Contraption Zack [ADFs for HD install only], Extase and others). (Lots of those versions turned out to be identical copies of the (in)famous Dream Zone, a very popular site back in the days. Don't worry, more than 90% of this vast collection are now TOSECified). Frankly: If they hadn't provoked so many emulator problems, I would still know jack shit about those obscurities of course -- including BIT. Last edited by andreas; 21 January 2004 at 21:44. |

Eventually...
FOUND IT!!
In the zone. TOSEC: please mark the TOSEC one as [ b]. It *is* bad because you cannot play the game 'til the end because of the read errors! |

Hi,
I couldn't find any working version of "Bit in the magic castle". The files st15 / st16 in the /room directory cointain unreadable data, so I am unable to complete this game :-( I had that game on a real Amiga, but I experienced the same problem! Where did you find a working version of this game? Thanks, Fabio |

On a CD, and I had to scan far over 10 of them.
THIS DISK IS EXTREMELY RARE. Disk 2 (100%) of BITMC is in the zone for you. Maybe the impossible will happen again and someone from TOSEC will eventually include this disk after two years. Feedback, please. I think this disk should not cause any problems. Last edited by andreas; 28 March 2006 at 02:29. |
