Magazine i got a few
hey HOL and all , blow it i`m off to get them all out lol. and take a picture for your MAG PRON collection , be back in half hour , with a list.
i got a selection of magz Amiga Format and cover disks ACE (might have disks) Amiga Action (might have Covers disks) was perusing your magazines the other day and i noticed there was pages missing, maybe it was just me but i double checked. and got my own mag of that number and it seems so. now the thing is before i start scanning these babies for you, i need to go through the HOL to see which ones of say Amiga Format are missing, as i have about 20 or more of these. I have :- ACE 33 JUNE 1990 42 MARCH 1991 43 APRIL 19191 |

We have a reasonably complete set of Amiga Format and ACE page scans - however the Amiga Action ones are a lot more rare so if you have anything we don't have, that would be fantastic.

We have them, but haven't necessarily scanned all the junk.
Galaxy and I scanned the majority of the Amiga Format and Amiga Action issues and we scan each page, rotate it, clean it up etc and so couldn't be bothered with the non editorial content. Most of the collections on the net are rough scans that aren't straight, have extra bits or bits cut off, old yellowing colour not fixed etc. Who reads ads for Software Hut in every mag, 6 page spreads of Gordon Houghton Computers etc? |

Galaxy appears to have scanned almost all the editorial stuff from Amiga Action November 1991. What's missing apart from ads? If there are any editorial pages missing and you want to scan them, we'll take them.

There is nothing stopping you from scanning the entire mags.
I do however get sick of people that expect ME to scan all this junk when I have clearly stated why I don't scan. I bet if I added a page view counter to the ad pages you'd find almost none of them have been read ever! |

well what i will do, when i have the time.
scan the pages that are not done, as galaxy and codetapper have done most of the hard work already, and probably some others to along the way. that way everyones happy, because i cant see that many pages missing from each of the issues anyways. |

We've only got the cover scanned of the Amiga Format special so if you want to scan the whole thing, go for it. The other one is a small add on mag that's probably attached as an extra to whatever issue it came with.

I can't wait for scans such as this ad for softsellers. They are really great reading and it's so hard to take the magazine seriously without it!

Upload them to the HOL FTP server in a folder of your choice.
Please don't zip them though, just upload the JPGs as I can move them if they're JPG rather than having to download, uncompress and re-upload. If they are named 001.jpg etc that saves time, but as long as the last 3 digits are the page number they can be batch renamed to the required AMR format. |
