Il Scuro, because he was doing a lot of one part, its by seeing its releases that I wanna doing one part too, testing all the available crunchers to release only to friend the smallest one part possible
Never really cracked stuffs myself, the only two were Fernandes Must Die (very easy) and TV Paint for a friend of mine who owned the original but was fed up with the protection.

Rob was very good. The plain text intros were everywhere.

I was also a fan of the C64 coder/cracker Marco Mariani, alias mamasoft, who died in a car accident.

well this is not that easy a question I think, coz just taking a dive into my disk library reveals so many and i usually most remember the groups
But for me, a best cracker is the one who not only cracks the game, but allso is able to fix little weird problems and maybe add some small but needed new features, to make the favorite game, just that tad better and STINGRAY pops up as one of those guys, I will say though that galahad and fairlight as a whole rank very high on my personal "I know that crack works" list, same with the crystal cracks and the awesome remember and nostalgia cracks on c64
So it looks like i'm putting stingray up there and on top of that he is a fantastic amiga coder
But galahad, for the battle squadron pal crack and 6R6 from nostalgia-c64 for his 1sided last ninja crack, comes very close for me personally, coz they did some of my alltime favorite games RIGHT
