why not a special new strategy game

Hi guys,
i have 2 games that i like for my 14 , this is settlers and ufo (x-com)...
i saw the work of many great coders here.
Great games like rygar, etc, etc....
Why not a mix between settlers 1 and ufo 1 ????
the map of settlers but when there is a fight, it could be a turn by turn !!!
A strategy game with combat turn by turn.
A game like this is available already ????
But if it's too difficult or too strange or a bad idea ???
Why not a new strategy game like settlers 1 ???
Or settlers 1 in high resolution, you can try the dos version in 640x480, you will see what i mean, really difficult to come back to the amiga version after that.

@turrican3: you are right that skilled people are here on EAB. You should, nevertheless, not forget that even a "simple" game requires time to be coded. If you have a closer look at some games history, you will see that it can take up years to produce something playable.

What about 'Lords Of Chaos' (from the same guy who made UFO/X-Com and 'Laser Squad') and its expansions 'Expansion Kit One' (official name) and 'Escape From Zol' (an exclusive magazine coverdisk).

I don't think you'll find exactly what you are looking for on the Amiga, probably on the PC X-com apocalypse will probably come close.

they just published settlers history with the 7 settlers in 1 pack !!!
