This is an amiga game, Loderunner clone? I can't find it on the TOSEC archives. Does anyone have the game?

Aminet readme too states that it is only a preview and not the full version. |

Hi. I'm game author. The game was not finished in 1998 due to lack of artist.

Just played through all the practice stages... and it seems very cool indeed. I like the night stages
What is missing from the preview version to the full version? |

Hi all
as you know the preview version was uploaded and never finished due to a lack of an artist as Oriens, the programmer above, mentioned. The preview has 52 levels and a full level editor. I did a quick play here: [ Show youtube player ] I have emailed the programmer and he wants to finish this after his current Amiga projects, a music disk and porting a game to the Amiga, but was looking for an artist to enhance the visuals. He said he had started working on it again and may finish himself The level editor included in this preview means people could create some level packs that could be added into the final game too potentially. This is from the readme of the preview version This is a 100% playable preview of BODERUNNER 98. This game is a remake of LODERUNNER (C64) using AMIGA AGA chipset power. x 48 graphic colors and 320 background copper colors. x 3 parallaxes, fluid scrollings and a 4 screens wide play-map. x Some cool adds like : Simultaneous 2 player mode, switches and teleports. x Extra background modes like : Snowing, raining, moving or playing in the dark. |

Would anyone be able to help Christophe with art? He is working on other Amiga things too and back on the scene. I can put you in contact.

I did contact Christophe Kohler about Bode Runner 98 Preview version way back in 2022-10-10, and yes he did confirm its due to lack of Graphics Artist he had not completed the Game, But from appearances and play throughs by myself, it is I would say not far off completion, as it is fully playable as it is right now, and very enjoyable to play as well
I did ask for permission to add it into my Games Collection I am slowly building up, and I reviewed it on my Blog here: https://amigaboing.net/2023/01/13/bode-runner-98/ I too would love to see this Game finished, I think it is a great game and does need a final version releasing, I truly hope someone can help CK with the Graphics (which really are pretty polished as-is in my eyes) and produce a final version Fingers crossed eh |

I, like you, like the style of this game, it fits well and has some real nice touches. His CV has some impressive stuff on it across many platforms. http://christophekohler.epizy.com//CVe.html?i=2 |
