Last Ninja 3 original adfs or aga fixed version
I have original boxed game Last Ninja 3 , but the disks are corrupt.
I tried the whdload version of the game on my A4000d, but noticed that the game level codes (typed in the highscore table screen) didn't work. So there's a trainer option added, but let's say I want to play starting at level 3, with limited lives, it won't be possible because if I select the cheat option, there's automatically unlimited lives. ![]() I tired two cracked floppy versions , but those didn't work. I think the other of those versions needs kick 1.3, and my setup makes softkicking impossible. ![]() So, I'm requesting the CD32 version of WHDload installed game, and original diks images in adf/dms format, and/or AGA fixed version, if that does exist ? ![]() And Happy Valentine's days evening to everybody ![]() |

WHDLoad was created to work with original disks, so yes, the WHDLoad 'installs' you may stumble upon should be from genuine disks!
FWIW, Last Ninja 3 uses copylock on Disk 2! If you had a Kryoflux you could write back the IPFs of LN3 to repair you disks, provided the disks are not physically damaged! |

Thanks for advice, BarryB. Sure, I don't have Kryoflux. But I renamed the disk image files to .adf files and wrote to floppies. The game loaded ok and seemed to work, but the main sprites (ninja and enemies) were badly corrupted. I tested on my A4000d (040).

But that's a AGA/caches/turbocard problem for sure.

So I thought, too. I wonder if the file named "disk.2" of WHDload installed Last Ninja 3 has copy lock(?) removed or not... :-o

Don't know. But on the original CD32 CD image there are the 2 plain disk images (880KB) too.

If the WHDLoad images have been copied from the floppy version then it's likely Track 0 Side 1 on disk 2 was skipped while installing as that's the copylock track.
Comparing those files on the CD32 ISO and the original IPF, there is no difference in data, therefore I can only assume the NINJA loader on the CD32 version bypasses the copylock! Last edited by BarryB; 15 February 2016 at 22:09. |

I made floppies from the disk images of WHDload install of LN 3. The game seems to work, expect for the level codes ( written to the high score table). So I can' t pass the levels.
Anyone there with the original disks of LN 3 .. ? |
