Hi, there was a bug in 1.9.1 affecting the performance of the Zorro 2 version. I am currently working on a new release mainly for Zorro 2 users. Here is a first test version with much improved performance for A2000 with 4MB address space, autoboot disabled. I am looking forward to test reports:

Anyone having difficulties with the latest firmware? Ever since I upgraded from 1.8 my system has been crashy and random in behavior. My AA3000+ with 3.2 give multiple power leds on boot. Sometimes it just give infinite loops with flashing power led, other times it boots and works for a while. Then it will start crashing with 8100 0005 errors.
I pulled the card for now... |

Hey Matt, I am experiencing the same issue after upgrading from 1.8 to 1.9/1.9.1 on AOS 3.2 and A4000. Flashing power lead and 8100 0005 will always happen on cold boot, did not see this happening with warm boot. Hopefully new drivers/firmware will be released soon and fix the problem and in the meanwhile I am thinking to downgrade to 1.8 if it become annoyance.

Thanks for this trixter, it worked. The 256Mb was not recognized after the cold boot, but it was after soft restart. I did not read what "no autoboot" does so maybe addt'l settings are required. |

No autoboot is related to the USB mass storage driver. If you don't intend to boot from a USB drive, then you can just run the one with no autoboot.

Where is everyone discussing ZZ9000 in real-time these days? The IRC logs have been empty for weeks, so where did everyone go?

That's the place. Nothing much to discuss at the moment I guess. :-) Maybe it will liven up once we get our AX boards.

Looking back now I probably would not have purchased the ZZ9000 had the Pistorm been out. Yes, no A3/4000 solution yet for Pistorm, but that may come. Also some new accelerators maybe this year for A3/4000 which can help (TF4060 and maybe Matze's board). Darren |

I wasn't aware of this thread and so just reposting here as there hasn't been much response elsewhere:
1) “card->Name” is not initialized properly." causing hit when driver is initialized. This has been an issue for quite sometime that would be great if it could get fixed. Might make ZZ000 driver happier when running in OS4 http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=110063 https://community.mnt.re/t/zz9000-mu...-started/767/4 2) "Split screen on flickerfixer, when switching between RTG and flicker fixer" https://www.gregdonner.org/zz9000/su...eshooting.html This one I think is fixed in a 1.9.2 beta but not sure where to find that. |

I guess it would make most sense tp report issues in the github, wouldn't it? https://github.com/mntmn/zz9000-fw

Thanks -- for that link above I'm thinking that repository is deprecated? I had actually tried to get an account sometime back at this link below location as I was thinking this is the latest repository area. Or are these 2 locations somehow related? https://source.mnt.re/users/sign_in?...to_referer=yes For the source.mnt.re, I never got email to confirm my account I checked again and it does look like this one has my user name but I don't get any email for a password reset. Not sure if source.mnt.re is private to developers? |

Hi All,
I built an Aniga 4000 mainboard from scratch and so I don't have the bus board (or a case), in fact, the ZZ9000 is the only Zorro card that I will probably ever own... So my question is can I just plug the ZZ9000 directly into the motherboard, I did read that there could be bus termination issues? If I can't plug it in directly, has anyone seen an aftermarket "short" bus board with only the slots I need for the ZZ9000 or is there a simple "hack" that adds termination or whatever is required to the ZZ9000? Thanks. Richard |

Mine arrived 2 weeks ago, very happy with the whole ZZ9000 purchase. Below is a short demonstration of ZZ9000AX in action, playing via CLI:
