Aca 1233 and 3.0 roms
Is it expected that the aca 1233 (2014 version so not 1233n) does not work properly with roms 3.0?
For 3.0 I see half the freq and only the 1mb memory. 3.1,no problem. |

I think this is normal as it was the same for me with my ACA 1221 card. You need to use the ACAtune software and add some lines to the startup sequence to fix it or just use the maprom function to load KS 3.1 into ram.
I did eventually upgrade to proper 3.1 Roms on mine. |

I know some accelerators including other ACA boards need 3.1 to autoconfigure their memory, so that's probably normal. It can most likely still be manually configured with a command in the startup-sequence. As for the speed, not so sure. Does it default to the lower speed and require a command to set the clock rate to full speed?
