Glad to hear it! I've started renaming stuff. Removed the EAB logos and made some new ones for http://grandis.nu/turran (/eab still works as well) with my limited HTML/PHP and graphics capabilities.

Replaced the login message on the FTP and also modified the first post in this thread to reflect the new name. Lots more to do but we're on our way.

1. When i try to download the whole TOSEC folder google drive does scan for a virus on file MA-GA28 (1992)(-)[WB]
2. When i compare the ftp folders with the google drive one alot of games and files are missing. Google drive is by far up to date.

Yeah, google drive sucks big time. The files are there, they are just refusing to share. The share on the root does not propagate down everywhere in the tree structure so some files/folders arent shared and you can't see it.

Lots of people having the same problem, for years, and google have not fixed it really. Not much I can do. I thought about buying another cloud service but seeing that I use google drive for backup (and that works fine. Its just the sharing that is a problem), I don't really want to spend more money on another backup solution.

Quick question, is every uploader account bound to a specific IP ?

I'm asking because I subscribed to a VPN yesterday because of BS region lockouts and the recent KODA/Goolag issue.

However, it's just not crappy danish pop/(c)rap, whatever run-of-the-mill "music" being blocked, it affects everything with just a hint of anything that resembles the "music" being used by those "artists".
So naturally, VPN is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned.

TL;DR, I can't login with my upload account if VPN is on, is there any way around it ?

No, there is no reason why that should not work. The only thing blocked is the whole of China. If that block is the issue, you would not reach http://grandis.nu either.

Otherwise its a shitty VPN I say

Wait, that came out wrong.

I can login but ftp appears empty, that's all.
Not a big deal though, I can disable it temporary if need be.
It's NordVPN for what it's worth.

I seems I just had to enable passive mode with VPN active.

i wanted to create a dir in "uploads" to copy my fanzine as backup, but i have no permission to do.

You must create a folder called exactly the same as your login name to the FTP. In there you'll have full upload/move/delete permissions.

Datacenter is currently being updated from vSphere 6.7 to 7.0. I don't expect any trouble (you never do, right?) but just wanted to inform you ahead of time of possible downtime.

If Retroplay gained access to the FTP again, why isn't his folder in the ~Uploads directory accessible to the rest of us?

Because most of the folders in Uploads folder are hidden now

This is happened after the ftp cleaning operation

The visible ones are there because the owners of the folder asked to be visible

Correctemundo. Retroplay also have access to "/Retroplay WHDLoad Packs" where the "public" whdload games are.

Only trusted users have their upload folder visible as well and we dont trust Retroplay. Just kidding. If he wants it visible, he only needs to ask =)
