Most suitable resolutions (native) for WinUAE
I am using PowerStrip which is used to create new resolutions and it has loads of options.
What I'd like to know is which resolutions should I create to use for native Amiga resolutions? I'll be using those resolutions on my Samsung 206BW using a 50hz refresh rate (which supposedly my monitor does not support but works) I think most Amiga games and demos use 320-256 and 320-200. I'm not sure if they would display properly so will I need to create double that amount? Also what about overscan? Should I create resolutions with overscan? What are those resolutions? Also what should be the vertical and horizontal refresh rates? |

Powerstrip rocks, I've used it since it came out
I use 720x576, 50Hz, Fullscreen, no sync. Null filter, Hires, Scanlines (with brightness/contrast/gamma tweaking). I also use the commandline option to turn off buffering. This is the best I've found yet. If you have a big CRT then just use a higher resolution, with 1x scaling the Amiga screen becomes a smaller part of the surface I also have a Windowed config with just the default display settings in my desktop resolution, 1280x1024 100 Hz, for non-game/demo stuff. Almost all Amiga-games/demos use 320x256, but WinUAE shows a bit more by default. |

Interesting reply. I do Dual Display with 50/100Hz, same res., v. refresh rate with autoVsync set on the 19" CRT monitor.
