A600 SD vs. cf

My A600:

CF card - No boot, no recognition by workbench 3.1.

SD card (Cheap amazon adapter), Workbench 3.1 installs and works fine.

Why?

- My first cf card was a Cloanto WB 3.1, but I have tried several, including a SanDisk 4gb, Sandisk 2gb, BUT WinUAE will see/boot from the Cloano CF.
-SD card (Cheap amazon adapter), 4gb micro sd card... workbench floppies install and work just fine

Caveat: Cloanto CF booted and worked fine (CF interface) 4 or 5 times. Then stopped. No boot. No recognition by WB3.1.

SD interface works fine

Any of ya'll got an Idea here???

Note: Machine is A600, 2mb chip ram,Vampire600v2,(keeping the floppy)
