Hello , as no one seems to be interessed with this one , a little more info about it.I noticed that there is an hd install with this game so first i thought that was cool , but the hd install works with a boot disk....So my wish would be to play this one without a boot disk !!Could someone see if something can be done to ?Thanks !!

The boot disk must be used to gain more chip ram, i had this installed to HD back in the day and i know i wouldn't of put up with a boot disk, so you should be able to work around that issue quite easily!!

Great game!!

According to the WHDLoad "Currently in Work" list:

Quote:
Kingpin (Team 17), 90% complete (adding support for CD32 version) 2.9.2008 Codetapper
So, I wouldn't say nobody is interested.

Hello ,

as Thorham and TCD helped me to understand how to make an assign command , i managed to make Kingpin working from HD !!
I put it in the zone , you'll just have to clic on the KPBOWLING's icon in King folder to make it work from HD.
Enjoy and thanks again to TCD and Thorham for helping me !!

I wonder if the whd.d had simply been forgoten about since the 1.0 install (floppy) is from 2003 ! I can up it to the zone, but maybe codetapper should decide if its ready to release or not .

Ive put the last test version in the zone. Its codetapper you need to see about a Final releasable installer though

Am I the only one having problems extracting the .lha archive (crc error in file "bowlerfem") ?
I manually copied all files in "Graphics" dir from another disk and it works ok now.

Got the same error here, corrupt on the file you mention.
Tested the install on my A600/ACA630 and A1200/Blizzard060, and :
*Copy protection still left, luckily i have the original.
*Wrong colors on A1200/060
*Couldn't play the game after passing the copyprotection, it just frooze on both my machines.
