Wizball (original) - what kind of write protection is it?
I was trying to doing some modification on wizball(original, is available on tosec 2012/04/10.
Now, everything I changes inside the disk (which is in DOS format), even the content of startup sequence, the disk become unreadable. For example, by doing " ls df0:" files are listed in an infinite loop; the game is not able to load itself. Afaik there's Rob Northen behind, because by disassembling wizboot file I can see the same protection used on barbarian (palace). Btw this time I'm not able to write anything into the disk. Where there should be the trick? |
