Strange problem

I have a strange problem with my A1200, recently I bought an Amigamaniac RGB-SVideo adapter, and when I received it, it did not output any video signal from the adapter. I sent it back to Nathan and he tested it out and it worked fine on his Amiga, so he sent it back and I have the same problem again. I tested the RGB port by is a VGA adapter and output a DblPAL screen from the RGB port to a VGA monitor, no problem, perfect picture. For some reason though my Amiga is not able to take advantage of his card, has anyone else had a similar problem like this?
