Delitracker V2.32 and PlayAY
Evening all,
I've spent a few hours over the course of today trying to get my Amiga to play Spectrum/Amstrad AY files. Unfortunately, after much trying I've reached a dead end. So far I've: - Upgraded my Delitracker installation to V2.32 - Have the PlayAY player installed and listed in the players list - Downloaded the AY of Ocean's Batman The Movie sound track If I try and load the AY file I get a "Couldn't identify file Batman-TheMovie.ay" I've downloaded the file from the Project AY web site. To play AY files on Delitracker do they need to be in a different format to the one that the Project AY files are stored in? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks! |

DeliTracker link, the link have a upgrade of DeliTracker from V2.32 to V2.34, also check this link for Additional players
Why not check out Eagleplayer if you have a expanded Amiga 1200. |

Shame - the Deliplayer for Windows website is now something to do with baguettes?!

The "Additional Players" link seems to be dead. I'll move on to Eagleplayer and see if I can get AY music up and running on that. My currently Eagleplayer installation also gives the two-fingered salute if I try and play an AY file with it. |

PlayAY plugin works fine for me, but I have only used it with the Project AY file collection. http://www.worldofspectrum.org/projectay/
I looked around for some .ym files, but these didnt work (not recognised). |

Apologies - I've not had time to switch the Amiga on following my second post. I'll try and get some time this week, check I've got the "AY Players" directory present and will report back.
The AY I was using came from the Project AY site. |

Well, I tried again yesterday afternoon, ensuring the AYPlayers directory was present, with the AY Players inside it and I still get the same error message Foul gets.
Mad-Matt - I've been using AY files from the above link and I still get the error message. Perhaps you could detail some of your setup? Versions, what files are located in which dir etc? |

as long as PlayAY is in your DelitrackereliPlayers directory and the AYPlayers dir is in your Deliracker: dir, you should be good to go, cant think of anything else to setup.
Ive attached a screen shot showing the version of the player and that delitracker has chosen the AY noteplayer to play the batman .ay file. |

I think its more than likely a players conflict then.
I would delete all other players and check, if AY files are played in this case. |

Guys, you're brilliant!
All sorted. Looks like I had the AYPlayers folder in the wrong location. I had it in the "Deliplayers" folder. Thank you so much! |

Put your Delitracker directory in the zone, if possible!
