Jesus on E's impostor tricks well-known YouTuber

First time I've come across something like this.

Neil from Retro Man Cave recently interviewed Echo of LSD, famed for his 'composition' of the Jesus on E's soundtrack back in the early 90s.

Except it wasn't him.

Not only wasn't it him, but this guy has been posing as Echo/LSD for ten years, booked to DJ at various retro events, etc.

Scandal !

Echo is spoonwizard, and he has his own website at spoonwizard.com. I remember downloading loads of divx files of amiga demos, you can mail from there, it also links to the above soundcloud.

Hahahahaha, that's made my day. Comparing this geezer to Milli Vanilli :-)

I knew a few guys from the original LSD (Atari ST) and Automation (moving over to Amiga) back in 1989 (e.g. Bob - call me back - blue boxer). I'm sure Shagrat can confirm if Graham's still around and active.

This is probably old news to some of you. But over on the Retro Man Cave youtube channel, someone they interviewed was caught claiming to be Echo/LSD when they weren't!

This made me laugh, it's just so random. With all due respect, what do you get out of impersonating Echo/LSD? I mean, 4-Mat or Nuke I could understand... :P

seems he's been getting paid for gigs at retro shows as 'the guy who did jesus on e's' . He's been a regular face at the revivals and play expos for years and has spun his story of his days in lsd and working with guys like Tim wright at Psygnosis (despite Tim having never heard of him) and being a big-shot at Sony for years. Turns out it was all bollocks, crazy he got away with it for so long really!

It's just a really odd choice of person to impersonate. As far as I'm aware the only well known thing he ever did was the Jesus On E's MOD, which isn't even a very good mod.
