Advanced Amiga Analyzer v1.1

Hello,

Just used the program AAA to test my A4000s Parallel & Serial ports and got some ( pretty bad) error messages.
I can' t recall exactly from where I got this Analyzer program from ( maybe EAB ?!), but I just found that the program needs some hardware part(?!) Installed ?!
If that' s true, maybe my test results are not valid at all.
Currently, I have no peripherals to install to the Parallel & Serial ports of my A4000, expect from the Midi Interface that I just bought ( untested). It is for the Serial port, I assume ..?!
Before I have some Midi devices / cables etc, how could I test that Midi Interface device ?
If I wanted to test my P&S ports in practise, would an old printer and maybe a null- modem cable be enough ?
I strongly suspect the results of Advanced A Analyzer app, because my machine is generally working ok and is in moderately good condition overall.
However, I think the PSU ( original A4000D) may not be sufficient overall for my setup ( 4 zorro cards etc)..?!?
So, could too low a current / voltage cause AAA prog to give failure result on Parallel and/ or Serial ports test ..?! ( No devices connected on those ports!)

And yes, you need this one to be able to fully use it. I have one and its a nice piece of kit.

Anyone there to try Advanced Amiga Analyzer, v1.1 on A4000D;
to test Serial & Parallel ports (without any devices connected on those ports)
and confirm my test results ?

Yeah, it needs some of the pins connected together, so it can test their input and output and read the results. It's the same story with DiagROM and AmigaTestKit - there's no other way to check if the pins are physically outputting what they should be.

Should the test port dongles that AmigaTestkit uses,
be compatible with Analyzer program also...?!
