'Create folder' option in configurations panel

Today I accidentally discovered that the winUAE/configurations folder can perfectly contain folders and as such will popup in the configurationpanel, even nested if applicable. Great to have found that feature in the configpanel, so much more organised now!

What seems like a perfect option in the configurationpanel of winUAE is a contextmenu to create subfolders from within the application. Would that be a good addition?

As discussed on Facebook, I think it’s a great idea, keeps configs tidier and uncluttered.

Personally I don't think that's necessary; as you just create the required "Configurations" subfolders via Windows Explorer; and then move the desired configurations files in.

I discovered lots of people are not aware of the fact that the configuration overview panel actually adopts the dir structure. Hence, a context-sensitive 'create/edit folder' attached to the right mousebutton is both convenient and creating awareness that the configpanel actually works that way.

In my opinion not something to keep up as a hidden feature.

This isn't a hidden feature; and I think the "Search" bar appeared at the same time.

I can't remember which version of WinUAE it was implemented in, but you should always read the release notes

Good idea but..

Right button context menu is not going to happen (at least not in next version) because sooner or later everyone wants it to do 10+ different things and become explorer replacement..
