Wanted: Workbench (3.0 / 3.1?)

Hey all,
I’ve got two Amigas here (and A1000 and a 2000) and practically no software at all to get them setup.

All I have that I can boot from is a single Workbench 1.0 disk.

I tried to format a disk but it just complains that it can’t launch the format application.

Can someone help me out with A) a set of Workbench disks to get me bootstrapped so I can start making disks and B) recommend some software to allow me to diagnose the SCSI drive as well as start making some floppies?

I’m an Amiga noob so I’m not sure where to begin.
I bought an SDbox but can’t get it to work without installing drivers. So I assume I need a working hard drive

amigaXfer might work. I have no idea if Workbench 1.0 supports 'loadwb -debug' but it's worth a try (there are other options, see the manual).

If you message me your address, I can send you some floppies.
That said, I'm not familiar with SDBox and I'm not sure what to include to get that working for you...
I did some googling, but it mentioned compiling the software, and possibly different options for different kickstart versions???
If someone can send me or point me at what file to include to get that to work, I could include that on the disks I send you also?

Thanks,

I will PM you... SDBox is an SDcard to Parallel device. You put your disk images on and SD card and then they show up on the disktop as a disk. BUT it needs a driver installed.

I have the driver software on a floppy that was included but it won't boot from the install disk and all i have is a working floppy drive and workbench 1.0 so i haven't been able to figure out what to do.
