TaskPie Source Code

Hi all!

I'd like to improve TaskPie to show not just CPU usage but also TCP/IP usages But I cannot find the source code or its author. TaskPie author is Szymon Ulatowski, possible nickname "szulat". I contacted amiga.org.pl but they have lost trace...

Could anyone help?

Cheers!

Szymon Ulatowski is the co-author of the fantastic Framsticks.
I spoke to him on their forum several years ago and he gave me a free keyfile for the Amiga version.

http://www.framsticks.com/node/902

Sadly, I think I have lost the email he sent me.
He tried to compile a free version of Framsticks for the Amiga but couldn't get it to work.
Anyway, you could try to email support at framsticks.com
It would be great if you could help him with that free version of Framsticks too.

Thanks for your answer! I didn't know FramSticks but, wow
Amazing stuff!

Let's hope that Szymon will get in touch

Cheers!

Hi, tried to run TaskPie but it give me an error: Current/recent cpu not implemented
I tried it in WinUAE with cpus 020 and also with 040 and it give me same error.
There is no instructions or ToolType to change the cpu version.

Any hints about that?

I have Taskpie running on 020/FPU - do you have Executive installed?

Just checked the tooltypes and it has CPU=CURRENT

Thanks for reply James

I don´t have executive installed but in the TaskPie doc doesn't has mention that it is necessary executive installed.

I already tried tooltypes with both CPU=Current and CPU=Recent and give me same error: Current/recent cpu not implemented.

I believe that TaskPie requires Executive... It works for me but I have Executive running

The parameter CPU is not about which monitor to use but how TaskPie displays CPU activities: with CURRENT, it shows how much CPU each current processes take "right now" while with RECENT, TaskPie shows a kind of "average" of the past few (?) seconds.

I prefer CPU=RECENT because it shows better which processes are really eating up my cycles (Not some transient stuff, like input.device.)

Cheers!

Thanks for your help tygre

The fault is that I had sysinfo.library version 2.2 and TaskPie doesn´t work with it, in my system it only works with version 2.0 that cames with executive

Hi all!

No luck with obtaining the source code of TaskPie so another question: does anyone know a program (patch, hack...) that can remove the resize gadget of a window of another program?

Cheers!
