Currently the Ragnarok, 800MHz(or soft overclocking up to 1GHz) G3 750FX, 512MB of RAM of which up to 384MB is available.
Though the Apocalypse or Rapture (G4@450MHz) with Altivec can be faster. Or much faster when overclocked with Altivec.

Is a voodoo card required in a AA3000+ to use the ragnarok? Or can i use it with a ZZ9000?

For warp3d you still need voodoo, but Ragnarok works ok alongside a zz9000 for other stuff

I would expect the zz9000 would be noticeably or crushingly slow for PPC applications compared to the Voodoo, but I haven't tried it or heard reports of how well it works.

I think I might have found the origin of the ramlib issues with my Mediator.

Can someone please try their Prometheus in the Mediator daughterboard (without the core logic bridgeboard in it, though) and see if it works?

I get #8000004 on BindDrivers when I try booting my A4000D with the Prometheus in any of the Zorro III slots (without any PCI boards on it). Works fine on my original A4000D daughterboard though.

As far as I know, the Mediator daughterboard without the bridgeboard should act as a normal Zorro III backplane...

Not really. It is known that Mediator and Zorro boards can give problems that don't show with the original Zorro daughterboard. I think E3B for example does not support their cards when used in Mediator. As in buy at your own risk.

Well, next step is to test the M1 on the Prometheus and see if it works there.

Can I at least test if initialises correctly? I just want to ascertain that my M1 is good.

EDIT: Aaand I am now getting #80000004 even with the original daughterboard. Something else is afoot.

I think GetInfo, CyberPi and CyberMand are stuff that works on Prm and M1/K1

Probably will work with just replacing the bridge, I'm guessing. It would have been nice of them to do something about the power distribution though on the busboard. Maybe we can just replace the Mach chips on the bridge?

I found one for 80, but it isn't on the list of 'works', I haven't tried it yet, either. But it is the same Technobox brand as the others I have seen, but is the 64bit version. Hoping it works, but qlso hoping my CSPPC works...
