Instrument samples

Hi. Anyone know if a large collection of Instrument samples exists and not just the ST-XX stuff that was used in early amiga games?

If so is it on the server? not sure what to look for but my amiga has a hdd so a larger collection in one archive would be preferable.

Thanks

Would love to find more samples myself! There are some synth sound libraries etc. on the EAB ftp: ftp://ftp:amiga@grandis.nu/~Uploads/adrdesign/

This is a pretty nice collection:

I uploaded some synth sounds I created on the PC and then converted to 8 bit here:

The ADR Design's collection MickGyver linked is the biggest by far, it will take you a while to go through it tough.

If you don't mind some processing (from 16 bit wav, usually) i would go for the free colections of MusicRadar;

Free music samples: download loops, hits and multis from SampleRadar

There were some sound collection available on the modarchive forums, some in .xi (fasttracker instruments) other in .wav
Fasttracker instruments can be read from Milkytracker and then extracted in the base sample form - some xi files have more than one sample

In wav we have the TMI Waveworld collection, with samples from several synthesizers, a good treasure for who likes to do Synthwave in example

WaveWorld 1.3GB of samples for free

The same modarchive forum might help for more resources:

My recomentation is, to make the song on Renoise (PC/Mac using VST) then, convert the samples to Amiga (is the best, because you may have the perfect samples for your songs, with the perfect octave, the chords, leads with some instruments mixed), is what we are doing on the music of our Amiga games.
Even the samples sound more clearer and natural.

I can show you my method if you like. Write me a PM.
