Gvp Simm
Take a look at www.softhut.com I was looking at that site a few days ago, and I think there was a comment about having a small batch of GVP simms made. I hope it helps.

@all
I have been trying to find a source of these for a friend, alas as you might imagine its proving difficult. I have found many methods on Aminet on how to Hack 72pin SIMM's or build your own 64 pin jiggys. but then i found this http://www.memoryx.net/apl64p4.html I have not been able to find the pin outs for these to confirm if they work with the GVP but its highly possible. please check yourself before purchase.... mind you for $9..... its worth a gamble in my book. |

Hmm, didn't we have a thread about apple simms in prb.hardware and it was all made clear in there why they cannot work.
Part of the memory controller or something is in the simm module in these 64pin apple systems. The Apple hardware manuals (GTTMFH) have the pinouts and functional descriptions, but they are not available on the net, only second hand. edit: You were in the thread! http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=32546 |

who's in for designing a PCB which will be soldered on GVP simm slots and accept standard 72 pin simms ? (GVP SIMM sockets will have to be desoldered for this.)
