amiga 600 trapdoor expansion help

Hey Yo. so i put a new 1MB CHIP RAM MEMORY EXPANSION in the trapdoor in an amiga 600 and nothing happened it doesn't detect it at all what could be the issue there ? i don't have a scooby doo

1. clean the contacts with an eraser and IPA
2. pull the expansion back a tiny bit

reset, try again

holy shiz that's worked nice one sir. so basically it don't work if its pushed to far in

Well, at least that´s what I have experienced with two out of three 1Meg expansions for my 600s

i added the A600 1MB CHIP RAM MEMORY EXPANSION and for some reason when i try to load my save game in SWOS it says " FILE SAVED BY DIFFERENT S.W.O.S VERSION" any idea's why ???
