I managed to get my CF cards seen by the Amiga 1200 system that is provided by default. I edited the 1200 system and then selected the media tab. From there I added a 'direct attached disk' in the 'disks' section. It found my Amiga formatted CF which Windows does not see.

I have never tried that feature of AF. I would think it is the same process though. The host OS is not going to be able to read the CF cards format. Windows often wants to format my card, but on occasion just posts no message.
