The best MODs?
I'm putting together a "new Amigan starter kit" and as part of it, I want to include a selection of MODs for folks to listen to in DeliTracker. Can folks recommend some good/classic ones that I should include?

Here are some of my absolute favorite classic Amiga mods:
4Mat's Madness (best chip tune ever IMO) A Common Threat Cream Of The Earth Elysium Enigma Feetwalk Global Trash Guitar Slinger It's Just Sonorous Overload Sarcophaser Seeing Is Believing Emotional Thing Sky Drift Smile Space Debris Stardust Memories Time's The Remedy Wasteland Then I also really like the mods on the Opus music disk (if you can find it) Mahoney and Kaktus' His Master's Noise has some great songs. My favorites are Aqua Minerale and Not Used But the best tracker music overall IMO is Elwood's music, e.g. see [ Show youtube player ] |

These have been favourites of mine for years and IMO really demonstrate that classic Amiga sound:
Anarchy Menu 1 Beyond Voyage Celephais Diznee Moods Driving (4-mat) Paul The Penguin Rainy Summerdays Synthmania 11 Syphus - Last Tense (2nd version is better but either is amazing) |

If using DeliTracker then you don't have to limit yourself to MODs. Other formats will play fine as well, and some are just awesome, e.g.

thanks a million for those links! I love Queen, Depeche Mode and other popular bands, but only music without lyrics allow me to work efficiently. That just fits perfectly.

I want it all
A lot of mods are techno mods, or hard rock, but a few are jazzy. I like 2 mods particularly if you don't know them: - JustForBlues: excellent acoustic guitar - Chicago (I think it's been remade from some in-movie music in Frantic). Very elaborate rythm & saxophone solo part |
