Which chip can be replaced by a new one
Hello,
I had the chance to get a Amiga 500 (Rev. 5 board), unfortunately all chips were removed before I received the board. I heard that some chips were produced within the last couple of year or even the new chip received more features and the chip is cheaper than buying an old one on ebay. Does anyone know something about such chips ? BR Planetinfinity |

Nothing available for sale as of today but several in pre-production.
The problem is price. You'll be paying much more than the price of a 2nd hand working A500. They are novelty factor to begin with unless you want the enhancements promised. You can buy NOS original chips, but again expect to pay more than the price of A500 for a full set |
