A3000 SceenMode

Hello,

Sorry for my ignorance....but i only have 1200.

Firstly i have on my A3000 a kickstarter disk 2.0 and Wb 2.04 installed on my Hdd, I wanted to change my screenmode to try Super72, but how to do ?
In Wb 3.1 on my 1200 i put my Super72 in Devs/Monitors then i change my screenmode that's all, but here i can't.

Secondly does kickstarter disk 3.0 exits to install Wb3.1, if someone has please put it in the zone.

And to finish i don't understand why when i put a floppy in my drive it doesn't see anything.
i can see my floppy only if it's a boot disk.

Thanks in advance.

You won't find anyone willing to upload a Kickstarter 3.0 disk to The Zone.

It's against the EAB rules (and so is asking for it ).

No, sorry, but someone else here is bound to be able to help you with this if you wait a while.

I think the Super72 modes were first introduced with Workbench 3.0 (someone correct me if that's wrong), so you'd need to obtain a SuperKickstart 3.0/3.1 and Workbench 3.0/3.1 disk set in order to use them with your A3000.

Also, note that the scan rate of Super72 is about 24kHz. What type of monitor are you using with your A3000? Because most monitors would not be able to handle that scan rate.

Thanks Mark k ,

I'm going to try installing Wb2.1 until i'll have superkickstart 3.0.

Super72 was an example, i can't or i'm not able to add a screenmode with 2.04.

According to the original set of 2.1 manuals I have here, the list of supported mode families: NTSC, PAL, Multiscan, A2024, Euro36, Euro72, Super72. Not sure if this support was present in 2.04 or earlier, however.
