Early '90s Amiga CGI album covers by Phil Wolstenholme
I bought a few of these albums back then and might have guessed at the time that they were done on an Amiga. Great interview.
Quote: "[...] I was the only one in Sheffield doing computer graphics of any kind commercially, because I don’t think anyone else had bothered buying an Amiga. The Amiga was a brilliant computer, but I was having to beef it up continuously – new memory cards, bigger hard drives, faster processors. When I started getting into the more complex 3D stuff, I was looking at two or three days rendering time for one image." http://daily.redbullmusicacademy.com...olme-interview Last edited by DH; 18 November 2017 at 15:30.
