Kickstart Issues

Hi

Not sure if this is the right forum but having an issue with loading certain games. I've copied over the kickstarts and the only one I am having issues with is:

kick40068.a1200

I've copied my 3.1 ROM (which I obtained from my Amiga) in there and renamed it and it just errors on launch. The 3.1 is okay as it's running ClassicWB on WinUAE. I downloaded the skick from Aminet and copied over the RTB file as well so that's also been replaced yet I seem to be getting no-where.

Any ideas?

I have also lot of problems regarding skick and I can't understand why sometimes he works and sometimes not.
skick goes into C: and kickstarts dir into devs: so try to add this line into startup-sequence and reboot machine.

Also try to generate new RTB file for that specific kickstart using KICK2RTB found in Mkick tool on aminet. Most important thing here is that you have files like kick40068.a1200, kick40068.RTB, kick40068.PAT into devs:kickstarts dir. Also try to rename kick40068.a1200 to kick40068. Maybe all of those problems are related to unpacking some archive under windows.

If you have WHDload setup with the Kickstarts and they work you should be ok
as for creating RTB files

Forgot to update this - I did get it sorted. The kickstart file I had seemed to have multiple versions of kickstart available (in the dropdown in WinUAE). Anyway, long story short, I grabbed the kickstart off my A1200 and it's been fine since. Guess the previous version must have gotten mixed up.
