Can Genesis be set up for dynamic IP?

Is there an idiot's guide for setting up Genesis/AmiTCP for dynamic IP? If it's possible.

I've finally got hold of one of those rare PCMCIA wifi cards. Works with Roadshow in free trial mode, but I'd already got Genesis back from my old NetConnect package. So if that could work, that'd be great.

If it's relevant, my ISP is VirginMedia.

From my memory, no.
Maybe if you use any big Linux program from Aminet to get IP it can works.
But on my Amiga it failed.

https://c53.nor.fi/~too/adhd/24he/ there's a dhcp client that doesn't require ixemul from Tomi Ollila, one of the AmiTCP authors. Source only, but shouldn't be too difficult to get going.

Set your router to do "DHCP Static Mappings" for the amiga, and then just use that IP in genesis.
