CIA chips

going through my bunch of CIA chips,

I noticed I have one thats an 8520PD, dated in 1991. Is there any difference in the 8520PD to the 8520A-1 ?? I see the SMT version on the a600 is 8520PL.. maybe 8520PD, the D is for DIP.

the 8520PD is numbered "318029-02". I noticed from the bboah they list an 318029-03 as 8520A-1..

The oldest ones I have are 8520R2 from 85..

They are functionally the same. As long as has the same model number (8520) and it fits in the socket, you're golden.

Post pics please if you have a camera. :-)
