Dragon's Lair: Time Warp - WinUAE Problems?

I have used WinUAE for years and have downloaded many of the games I owned back in the day. Never had a problem before.

Dragon's Lair: Time Warp seems to have an issue however. The cracked version of the game allows you to activate a "movie mode" so you can watch the game run through from beginning to end.

However, after the 4th scene, the screen flashes with colours very quickly and the game hangs. I don't know if it's waiting for a disk swap or something.

Does anyone know what's wrong and how I can get the game to run through from beginning to end via emulation?

Cracker group should write in scroll text or in simple message which disk you should insert when screen is flashing. You can also try different crack.

Flashing screen = insert additional Disk 7, Skid Row often cracked games this way, they were not able to put all Data on 6 Disks, like the Original.

Ah thanks so much. It worked when I put disk 7 in the drive.

I can play it through to disk 5. Then it craps out.

I've tried with a few different disks downloaded from a few different places. But always it craps out at the same place. After two hours fiddling I've given up.

I had a cracked version when I was at school. I don't remember this weirdness though, as I recall it just played directly without needing extra disks.

Does anyone have any further ideas where I might get a working version?

You have to use this Disks:
Quote:
Dragon's Lair II - Time Warp (1990)(ReadySoft)(Disk 5 of 7)[cr SR]
AD13C928
Dragon's Lair II - Time Warp (1990)(ReadySoft)(Disk 6 of 7)[cr SR]
B47ECA34
the other known Disk 5 (DD08070E) and Disk 6 (2F254011) are bad dumps!!!

Wasn't just Skid Row, many groups did this. I wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult to pop up a message that says "INSERT DISK 7 AND PRESS LMB" but you can write what I know about Amiga coding on the back of a business card.
