Open a Shell and write VERSION xxx (where xxx is your partition name, eg. DH0:, DH1: etc).

Thank you both for the replies.

I checked both methods and all 4 partitions of the HD are V45.9. I take it this is FFS? What are the benefits of using one filesystem to another and is it an easy thing to change? I am contemplating buying a GVP 4060 board to replace my Warpengine and this HD is scsi.

Thomas,

I ran your tool and for all 4 partitions the check box said OK. I take it that means I wont write over data on the partitions?

Also, the DH0: partiotion (524meg) had NO to >4GB while the other 3 partiotions had YES to >4GB. What's interesting though is that DH2: is only 1462meg in size...which doesn't make any sense to me. Any ideas there as surely it should have been a NO to >4GB?

How would you abbreviate "fully or partially outside the first 4 GB of the harddrive" if there is only space for four characters? ">4GB" was the best I could think of.

Partition size does not really matter. What is relevant is the position of the partition on the harddrive.
